After moving five times in the last six years it can be tough to catch up with projects that you need to keep up on. The project I just took on was organizing all of our photos. This all began with finally hooking up a scanner that has been sitting in a closet. I began the tedious process of scanning our photos. About 20 photos in I quickly realized the process of scanning more than 1000 photos would take a 1/4 of my lifetime or quit my job.Since neither of those were viable options I decided to send our photos to a scanning service. For $100 I filled up a box and sent them out to get scanned. A week later, miraculously the photos arrived back in a nice neat box and whala....a disc full of our photos all digitized.
